R. W. McGrath
R. W. McGrath "Rich" is an Award-Winning American Film Director. His work has received recognition from Ken Burns and PBS. For the past five years, he has been filming, writing and editing a documentary, Brother's All Are We about the 1934 American Legion Post 21 Baseball team. It was screened at the 14th annual Baseball Hall of Fame Film Festival and then placed into Hall of Fame's archives.
R.W.'s docuseries Why I Stream about Twitch Streamers was an official selection for the 2021 Indie X Fest, 2021 Indie Short Fest, 2021 New Wave Short Film Festival, 2021 Tokyo International Short Film Festival, 2020 Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival, 2019 Big Apple Film Festival; it also won two 2019 ImpactDoc awards.
At NYU School of Professional Studies he studied screenwriting under Michael Zam co-creator, writer and co-producer of the Ryan Murphy FX miniseries Feud.
In 2013 he studied under world-renowned acting / directing teacher Judith Weston at The Judith Weston Studio for Actors and Directors in Los Angeles.
In collaboration with his friend Charles Kinnane, they made a short for the documentary The Address that receive recognition from both PBS and Ken Burns.
