Rule Changes
Buying Property:
When a player lands on an unbought property, just like Monopoly 1.0, they are given the choice to but the property outright, or send it to auction
If they chose to buy the property outright:
The player must roll a multiplier (D3) die to determine how much they will pay for the property:
Roll a 1 = Listed property value
Roll a 2 = 2X Listed property value
Roll a 3 = 3X Listed property value
If they chose to send the property to auction
All players partake in a Second-Price Sealed Bid Auction
Everyone hides their bidding devices and places their bids
Everyone reveals their bid at the same time
The person with the highest bid wins the auction
The winner pays the price of the second highest bid times times their multiplier die roll (see below):
Roll a 1 = Second highest bid
Roll a 2 = 2X Second highest bid
Roll a 3 = 3X Second highest bid
Passing Go:
When a player passes Go
Player rolls the multiplier die
Roll a 1 = Collect $200
Roll a 2 = Collect $200 X 2 = $400
Roll a 3 = Collect $200 X 3 = $600
Paying Rent:
When a player lands on an opponents property, they must value their crypto currencies against each other to determine how much the renter owes the owner
Both players roll two D6 dice
The player that rolls higher wins
If they tie, they must reroll
If the owner wins, they roll a D3 with the following outcomes:
Roll a 1 = Renter pays listed rent price
Roll a 2 = Renter pays 2X listed rent price
Roll a 3 = Renter pays 3X listed rent price
If the renter wins, they roll a D3 with the following outcomes:
Roll a 1 = Renter pays listed rent price
Roll a 2 = Renter pays 1/2X listed rent price
Roll a 3 = Renter pays 1/4X listed rent price
